We're Hiring: Risk Analytics & Modelling Lead (Fintech Industry)

Location: Jakarta

Are you an expert in risk analytics with a passion for data-driven decision-making? Our client is seeking a Risk Analytics & Modelling Lead to drive risk management strategies for a fast-growing company in the fintech industry. In this role, you will be responsible for managing risk modelling activities, optimizing portfolio quality, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:


  2. Risk Modelling: Manage risk modelling activities to optimize portfolio quality, business growth, and profitability.
  3. Analytics & Development: Perform analytics, risk model development, loss reserves, POC, and support scoring management.
  4. Strategy Refinement: Continuously refine key risk and business factors such as PD, LGD, EL, UE, and pricing strategies for each product and segment.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key representative for risk modelling in internal and external engagements, including with regulators, funding partners, and auditors.
  6. Automation & Projects: Manage risk-related reporting automation and handle ad hoc projects.
  7. Risk Escalation: Escalate key risk issues to Senior Management for timely mitigation.

Key Qualifications:


  2. Experience: Minimum 7 years in risk analytics, scoring, or modelling for unsecured products like personal loans, paylater, or credit cards.
  3. Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with data science programming languages such as SQL, SAS, and Python.
  4. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Informatics, Engineering, or related fields from reputable universities.
  5. Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of OJK regulations.
  6. Communication: Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
