Senior Brand Manager

Role Overview
The Senior Brand Manager will lead end-to-end brand strategy, product development, marketing execution, and commercial performance for one or more brands under Summer International. This role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking, creativity, and business acumen, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver growth across Indonesia and the broader SEA market.
1. Brand Strategy & Positioning
● Develop and define brand vision, positioning, and long-term growth strategy
● Identify consumer insights, market gaps, and competitive landscape ● Build and maintain strong brand equity across all touchpoints
2. Product Innovation & Development
● Lead product development from concept to launch (R&D, formulation, packaging, pricing)
● Work with manufacturers, suppliers, and regulatory stakeholders
● Ensure product-market fit, compliance, and brand consistency
3. Go-To-Market (GTM) & Marketing Campaigns
● Build 360° GTM strategies including launch plans, content, KOL/influencer, media, retail, and digital
● Execute marketing calendar across e-commerce, retail, social media, and events
● Optimize campaigns for brand awareness, conversion, and ROI
4. Commercial & P&L Ownership
● Own brand P&L and drive revenue, margin, and profitability
● Develop pricing and promotion strategies
● Work closely with sales and e-commerce teams on annual planning and JBP
5. Modern Trade & General Trade Expansion
● Develop and execute brand presence and visibility strategies in Modern Trade (MT) and General Trade (GT) channels
● Negotiate listings, in-store activation, and promotional support
● Collaborate with distribution partners and trade marketing teams
● Strengthen O2O (online-to-offline) integration and in-store consumer experience
6. Market Expansion
● Deep understanding of the Indonesian market and consumer behavior.
● Preferred experience in regional expansion across SEA (Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia) and the US market
● Adapt brand playbooks and campaigns to local cultures and regulations
7. Cross-Functional Brand Team Leadership
● Lead, mentor, and inspire a small brand team while partnering closely with cross-regional stakeholders (finance, HR, operations, etc.) to drive innovation, ownership, and seamless collaboration
● Establish a brand center of excellence by implementing performance reviews, capability development, and continuous skill enhancement
● Oversee external agencies, freelancers, and creative partners to ensure every brand execution is strategically aligned, high-quality, and delivered on time
Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA is a plus)
● Minimum 8 years experience in brand management or marketing, ideally in beauty, health, wellness, or supplement categories
● Proven track record of launching and scaling brands or products
● Strong understanding of Indonesian consumer landscape and preferably SEA markets
● Experience managing P&L, GTM strategies, product development, and cross-functional teams
● Data-driven, creative, highly strategic, and execution-focused
● Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
