Role Description:

We are seeking a full-time, on-site
Process Engineer
to join the PT Maxxtec Teknologi Indonesia team in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Process Engineer will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day process design and engineering activities, including but not limited to:

Daily Task Examples:

  • Produce process flow diagrams (
    PFD's and P&ID's
    ), piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment datasheets, heat & material balances, and piping line lists.
  • Size and specify major equipment and perform hydraulic calculations.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines.
  • Conduct engineering calculations,
    mass & energy balance
    .
  • Perform process safety analysis, including relief valve calculations and relief system design.
  • Conduct hydraulic analysis of complex systems.
  • Develop control schematics for integrated processes.
  • Provide technical and engineering support to other departments and disciplines.
  • Perform
    technical calculations
    and sizing (design) of heat exchangers, determining fabrication prices.
  • Conduct site visits around Southeast Asia to inspect installations of our equipment.
  • Prepare
    technical documentation
    and provide technical explanations to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or higher
    (Recent graduates are encouraged to apply)
    .
  • Relevant experience in an engineering or operating company is a plus.
  • Field experience at a process plant is advantageous.

Professional Requirements:

  • Proficiency in
    English is obligatory
    .
  • Very good knowledge of
    MS Excel
    and Visual Basic.
  • Ideally, familiarity with programming languages for applications.
  • Technical
    understanding of thermodynamic
    problems through a degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, or comparable courses of study.
