Job Description:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards
  • Accounting Operations: Oversee all accounting functions, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and the month/year-end closing.
  • Compliance & Internal Controls: Ensure strict compliance with all local and international financial regulations, tax requirements, and cryptocurrency-specific accounting standards (digital asset accounting). Develop, document, and maintain robust internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets.
  • Audit Management: Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors, managing the annual audit process and regulatory reporting.
  • Cash/Digital Asset Management: Monitor and manage the organization's cash flow and digital asset holdings, including banking relationships and crypto reconciliation processes
  • Financial Strategy: Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to executive leadership, offering strategic insights to drive business performance and manage financial risk.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with proven experience as a Controller or similar senior role. (mandatory min. 5 years of experience)
  • Experience in
    Public Accounting Firm (min. 3 years of experience)
    , FinTech, Financial Services, or Cryptocurrency/Digital Assets is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Related Certification (such as CA, CPA, etc) is favorable
  • Familiarity with the unique accounting and regulatory requirements of the cryptocurrency industry is a plus.
