The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Head of Operations
to lead our operational backbone and drive efficiency in our OTC trading ecosystem. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee day-to-day operations while playing a pivotal hands-on role in trading execution, liquidity optimization, and loan portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities

Trade OTC Execution
: Actively assist in structuring, negotiating, and executing large-block OTC trades across multiple asset classes, ensuring optimal pricing, minimal slippage, and compliance with internal risk parameters.

Liquidity Management
: Monitor and manage liquidity pools, counterparty relationships, and market-making strategies to maintain deep order books and seamless trade flow during volatile conditions.

Loan Portfolio Oversight:
Help originate, underwrite, and manage collateralized loan facilities; track performance metrics, mitigate defaults, and optimize yield while adhering to risk frameworks.

Operational Excellence:
Streamline workflows for trade settlement, reconciliation, KYC/AML compliance, and reporting; implement scalable processes and tools to support 24/7 global operations.

Team Leadership:
Build and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of precision, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Risk & Compliance:
Collaborate with legal and risk teams to ensure all activities meet regulatory standards and internal policies.

Strategic Input:
Provide data-driven insights on market trends, liquidity gaps, and product enhancements to inform senior leadership decisions.
Qualifications
7+ years in OTC trading, prime brokerage, or institutional crypto operations; prior leadership experience preferred.
Proven track record in executing high-value trades and managing multi-million-dollar liquidity/loan books.
Deep understanding of digital asset markets, DeFi protocols, lending mechanics, and risk management.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, or trading analytics platforms.
Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities; comfortable interfacing with HNWIs, institutions, and exchanges.
Familiarity with regulatory landscapes in major jurisdictions (US, EU, APAC).
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA/FRM a plus.
