Role Description

Bokashi is expanding, and we are searching for an exceptional
General Manager
to lead our multi-concept lifestyle property in Bali. This role oversees
hotel room operations, F&B/restaurant performance, retail outlets, and spa/wellness services
—ensuring a seamless, high-quality guest experience across all touchpoints.

We are looking for a
highly experienced expatriate candidate
who not only understands the Bali hospitality landscape, but has
lived and worked in Bali
, is familiar with local culture, regulations, and tourism trends, and can lead diverse teams with excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading end-to-end operations across hotel rooms, restaurant, retail, and spa.
  • Overseeing guest experience, service standards, and brand quality.
  • Driving revenue growth, cost control, and overall profitability for all divisions.
  • Managing and developing multi-disciplinary teams to achieve performance targets.
  • Ensuring compliance with local regulations, licensing, safety, and operational policies.
  • Working closely with ownership on strategic direction, branding, and expansion plans.
  • Maintaining strong community and vendor relationships within Bali's hospitality ecosystem.
  • Implementing operational improvements and SOP optimizations across all units.

Requirements:

  • Expatriate
    who has
    lived in Bali for several years
    and understands local culture, market behavior, legal requirements, and guest demographics.
  • Minimum
    10 years of leadership experience
    in hospitality operations.
  • Strong background in
    hotel management
    ,
    restaurant operations
    ,
    retail
    , and
    spa/wellness
    environments.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-concept venues or lifestyle properties.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and people-development skills.
  • Strong financial acumen (P&L, forecasting, budgeting).
  • Ability to create a high-performing culture grounded in service excellence.
  • Experience working with Indonesian teams and understanding local HR practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
