Position required:  Senior Geo technical Engineering - ONLY PROCESSING WHAT MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS

Job Description :

  1. Conduct geotechnical assessments and slope stability analyses for open-pit mining operations.
  2. Develop and update geotechnical models, monitoring plans, and risk assessments to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
  3. Design and evaluate slope angles, bench configurations, and drainage systems in compliance with Good Mining Practice principles.
  4. Supervise and interpret results from field investigations such as drilling, core logging, laboratory testing, and in-situ monitoring (inclinometer, piezometer, radar).
  5. Prepare technical reports, geotechnical recommendations, and slope monitoring summaries for management and regulatory submissions.
  6. Collaborate closely with Mine Planning, Geology, and HSE teams to integrate geotechnical constraints into mine design and scheduling.
  7. Support the implementation of geotechnical hazard awareness and training programs for site personnel.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering or Mining Engineering with specialization or experience in geotechnical engineering.
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in geotechnical analysis, slope design, or ground control within a mining environment.
  3. Proficient in geotechnical and mine design software such as Slide, RocScience, GeoStudio, Dips, Surpac, Deswik, or equivalent.
  4. Strong knowledge of soil and rock mechanics, slope stability analysis, and geotechnical risk management.
  5. Familiar with regulatory requirements under Indonesia Mining Law No. 3/2020 and ESDM Regulation No. 26/2018 regarding mine safety and geotechnical monitoring.
  6. Possess valid Occupational Health and Safety (K3) certification; professional certification from BNSP/LSP or a relevant body is highly advantageous.
