About the role

As a Production Supervisor at PT Avery Dennison (Project Based), you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility in Semarang, Central Java. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day production activities, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. Your expertise in manufacturing processes and team leadership will be essential to the success of our operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of production teams to meet daily and weekly production targets
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols
  • Identify and resolve production issues, bottlenecks, and process inefficiencies in a timely manner
  • Provide on-the-job training and support to production staff to enhance their skills and productivity
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and quality control, to optimize production workflows
  • Generate production reports and analyze data to identify areas for improvement
  • Foster a positive and engaging work environment that promotes team morale and continuous improvement

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in applicable field, such as Engineering, preferred.
  • 2-3 years Operational experience in the same position
  • Skilled in analyzing and drawing information for daily operational needs and improvement for the team.
  • Skilled in scheduling and planning, budgeting and control. Knowledge of systems.
  • Skilled in designing and implementing operation improvement strategies for safety, cost, quality, training, inventory and services.
  • Strong ability to manage, coach and develop a diverse team of individuals performing a variety of tasks
  • Experience leading continuous improvement efforts. Familiarity with ELS Operating Principles.
  • Strong customer focus, communication, planning and coordination skills.
  • Ability to think ahead, anticipate problems, make decisions and take appropriate action
  • Good in English and Excel Skill
