Role Overview:

One of our clients is looking for a highly driven
Retail Strategy & Operations Manager
to lead end-to-end retail performance across multiple regions. The role focuses on commercial growth, operational excellence, and transforming store operations through strategic initiatives, tool building, KPI creation, and continuous improvement. This position is ideal for someone who is entrepreneurial, analytical, and passionate about modern retail transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute localized retail strategies to drive traffic, conversion, and sales growth
  • Identify, pilot, and scale new revenue streams across stores (events, partnerships, services)
  • Build operational excellence tools — dashboards, KPIs, routines, and productivity trackers
  • Lead performance monitoring and implement corrective actions to ensure target achievement
  • Drive active selling culture, coaching store teams to improve UPT, ATV, and conversion rates
  • Ensure consistent implementation of campaigns, pricing, service standards, and inventory flow
  • Partner with Store Managers to improve store operations and resolve performance gaps
  • Oversee visual merchandising quality and store ambiance aligned with brand standards
  • Lead, coach, and develop retail teams to build capability and promote talent growth
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to roll out new operating models and improve store performance

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years experience in multi-store retail operations, area/regional management, or retail strategy
  • Experience in store operations, VM, space planning, and operational improvement
  • Bachelor's degree required (Master's is a plus)
  • Strong commercial background with proven ability to drive sales performance
  • Experience designing KPIs, dashboards, and tools to manage retail performance
  • Track record of initiating and launching revenue-boosting programs or local initiatives
  • Strong analytical capability and comfort in data-driven decision-making
  • Solid leadership skills — coaching, talent development, and performance management
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, problem solver, and fast execution capability
  • Willing to travel frequently
