SECTION 2: JOB PURPOSE



The Chief Life Operations will work closely with the President Director in developing the firm's annual operating plan and budget which reflect the strategic plan and priorities approved annually by the firm's board. This role will also take the lead role in executing the operating plan include IT strategy.

Product offerings include insurance products associated with investment and credit Shield insurance. Clients products and services are distributed through a variety of channels, including Bancassurance, telemarketing and retail.



SECTION 3 : JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES




  2. Oversee the operation of IT and Operations covering Claims,Underwriting,customer care and policy as well process improvement   to meet business goals and projections
  3. Analyze internal operations, identify areas of process enhancement, designing and implementing business operations
  4. Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting
  5. Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards; operate within the company's Risk Appetite statement to protect and enhance the reputation of the business
  6. Drive improvement in operational deficiencies through the division and across the business ensuring a high awareness on the management of operational risk
  7. Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning
  8. Collaborate with PII and Regional team to develop strategic initiatives, monitor the execution, and solve challenges & bottlenecks
  9.  Oversight IT & operational strategic initiative, new core platform implementation project, to drive operational efficiency and create business value

SECTION 5 : QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE




  2. 5 years + of executive level in life Insurance operational experience.
  3. Demonstrable experience and evidence of success in large scale operational managing role with multiple stakeholder.
  4. Proven experience or relevant role of managing Information Technology.
  5. Good understanding of service operating model of insurance business.
  6. Ability to build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with business heads, senior managers, consultants, technical experts across the whole department and business users
  7. Strong decision-making and problem solving skill.
