Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the equestrian facility's building systems.
  • Manage preventive and reactive maintenance across all infrastructure.
  • Supervise contractors and technical teams, ensuring timely and high-quality work.
  • Monitor HVAC, lighting, water systems, and environmental controls tailored to animal welfare and comfort.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building codes.
  • Develop and manage maintenance budgets and reporting systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with equestrian staff to align facility needs with operational requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in building or facilities management.
  • Proven experience managing A+ Grade buildings.
  • Strong engineering background – degree or professional certification preferred (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Facilities Engineering).
  • Hands-on expertise in managing complex technical systems.
  • Experience working in environments with live animals or high-sensitivity operations is an advantage.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies promptly
