About the role

PT Yasa Mitra Perdana is seeking an experienced Finance, Accounting, & Tax Department Head to join their team in South Jakarta, Jakarta. This full-time role will lead the company's accounting, reporting, and tax functions, playing a crucial part in the organisation's overall financial strategy and operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee all finance, accounting, and tax-related activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to support the company's growth
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide strategic insights to management
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements
  • Manage and mentor the finance, accounting, and tax teams, providing training and development opportunities
  • Collaborate with other department heads to align financial objectives with the overall business strategy
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency
  • Participate in special projects and ad-hoc tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar finance, accounting, and tax management role
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards, tax laws, and financial reporting requirements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations
  • Proven track record of leading and managing a team of finance and accounting professionals
  • Proficient in the use of financial software, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • CPA or ACCA certification is preferred
  • Having Brevet A & B is preferred
