Job description

We are looking for an Engineer to maintain existing Electrical and IoT systems. This role involves on-site placement, providing hands-on experience with real-world challenges and cutting-edge technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • System Maintenance: Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of existing Electrical systems and IoT systems, tailored to site-specific needs.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor IoT system performance and suggest improvements for optimization.
  • Site Visits: Conduct routine and ad-hoc site visits to inspect, repair, and upgrade IoT deployments.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities, including system logs, issue reports, and technical guides.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Optimaxx IoT team to address site-specific challenges and ensure system reliability

REQUIREMENTS

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Engineering Physics, or a related field.

Basic Experience: Candidates with 1 year or more relevant experience

Technical Knowledge:

  • Ability to diagnose and repair electrical circuits and IoT systems.
  • Knowledge of IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, Modbus) and architectures.
  • Knowledge of IoT platforms such as Node-RED, ThingsBoard, or similar.
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Python, or JavaScript).
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical abilities, teamwork, and effective communication skills.

Professional Attitude: Discipline, reliability, and eagerness to learn are key traits.
